I absolutely love this series. I love the new characters that are introduced in each new story. I love that we still get to see those we’ve met and fell in love with before. I love how Jesse Hayworth paints a picture with her words so that you feel like you’re in the middle of a dude ranch.

Sam was such a great secondary character when he was introduced that I was thrilled to see him star in FIRELIGHT AT MUSTAND RANCH and let me tell you, he didn’t disappoint. Sure he’s got baggage, but he’s a great guy. He fun, hardworking, loyal and incredible sexy and Danny is the perfect woman to help him find the inner peace he’s been seeking and to help him really start living again. Likewise, Sam is the perfect compliment to Danny’s issues. One of the things I love most about Jesse Hayworth’s stories is no one is trying to “tame” the other. Her characters compliment each other. Where one is weak, the other is strong. Where one struggles, the other supports. Her books are always about couples coming together and finding that balance that makes two people whole.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

As the second in the series, I enjoyed reading this book. Nothing like a good love story!
Great read. Love the setting. The characters come to life. First time I have read this author. I will read more of Hayworth's work
Although this book is a great stand alone I loved meeting all my old friends from the previous books. (Wish we had heard a little about Grans trip to Paris but maybe in the next book) Sam and Danny are the best couple ever it I can't wait to hear Ashley's story.

When it comes to Mustang Ridge, "I want to go to there!" This latest story about the dude ranch and its (extended) family delivers the same pitch perfect blend of heart-pulling emotions and sassy sexiness. The woman is strong despite her troubles and the man is hot is hell even when he's being sweet and funny. I truly hope Hayworth has more stories to tell with these people or at least will write more westerns because her knowledge and love of horses and ranch life really shines through.
I really enjoy Jesse's writing... she is a wonderful story-teller and this fourth installment of her Mustang Ridge series is every bit as good as the first three were. Characters are fun, settings and plot twists are interesting, and she has a gift for descriptive writing that literally paints the picture in your mind as you read. If you enjoy a really well-told tale with some wonderful romance woven into it, you'll like this one. I recommend reading the others in the series first, as many characters reappear and it's more fun if you already feel that you "know" them in this one.
LOVED it! First of all, the confession I'm a HUGE Jesse fan! I'm a fan because I've NEVER been disappointed in a single books she's written. I've loved and re-read all of them. This series is amazing. The way she describes the beauty of the land... you want to visit. The gals are all people you'd want for your best friends. And the men... oh yeah, they're the ones you definitely want! LOL.... Danny and Sam are just the perfect couple--a perfect complement to each other. I loved how they saved themselves... they supported each other, but they each stood on their own. Wonderful addition to one of my favorite series. I so want to try this one day! If only it were real..... ;)
